Control Eigenharp metronome with Launchpad

Geert wrote a post on how to invoke Belcanto on the Eigenharp with Python in the Eigenlabs Forum -> Software today (see here), so I had this fun little idea to control the metronome by using launchpad. I wrote 2 little python scripts (only works in 1.3.17 testing):

to start the metronome called met_start.py

import xmlrpclib
s=xmlrpclib.Server('http://localhost:55553')
s.execBelcanto('metronome listen start')

and met_stop.py to stop the metronome

import xmlrpclib
s=xmlrpclib.Server('http://localhost:55553')
s.execBelcanto('metronome listen stop')

Then I opened Osculator and wrote 2 little Applescripts to start the Python scripts :
do shell script "python ~/insert_dir_here/met_start.py"
do shell script "python ~/insert_dir_here/met_stop.py"

Then I had just to connect the Applescripts with 2 Midi buttons and now I can start and stop the metronome with a Novation Launchpad. So you can not only control Stage (via OSC) with a Launchpad, but also Belcanto directly. Not so important for Alpha users since they have lots of keys, but really cool for Pico users.
